A patch over here, a patch over there.
I have been on a quest to find the ultimate overalls since my first Oshkosh B'Gosh. Although I never fulfilled my wish of Peter Panning and not growing up so that I could always fit into them, my search ended last week. It was probably the cute patches all over that made it look childish ... so I grabbed it off the rack. Ok, fine, and also that it was on sale didn't hurt either.
I think for me, the biggest deterrences to finding the overall is that there are so many things to consider. Length: I don't want to be swimming in extra fabric or folding it no more than twice, sometimes they make the hips really narrow so then I have to size up, and other times, the suspender parts are too narrow or just pretty damn ugly. So with these, we paired it with many shirts and some kinda made us time travel into a 90s kids playground, but we ended up with a simple navy thin sweater and boots for an easy weekend look.
